Who we are
Vocalyra is an online language school offering French, English and Spanish courses. In this policy, “we” means the people operating Vocalyra.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address and the name you give us when you sign up. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email, name and profile picture.
- Learning setup — the language you are learning, your support language, your goals and your deadline.
- Learning activity — placement results, lesson completions, quiz and exam answers and scores, flashcard ratings and optional verb study progress.
- Technical data — standard server logs needed to run and secure the service.
Why we use it
To create your account, place you at the right level, decide what you should study next, track your progress, unlock the next lesson or level, and let your tutor support you.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not use advertising trackers. We do not run non-essential analytics cookies, so there is no tracking consent banner to click.
Who can see your progress
Only you and the teaching staff of your school. Learners cannot see each other’s progress: every record is protected at the database level and checked on every request.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile and learning records.
Your choices
You can update your learning setup at any time, ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account. Use the contact route below and we will confirm before anything is deleted.
Cookies and storage
We store your sign-in session and small convenience values (such as your interface language and where you left off in a study session) in your browser. These are required for the service to work.
